The Livingston County Wildlife and Conservation Club

The Livingston County Wildlife and Conservation Club (LCWCC) was founded by a small group in 1950. The small group of local residents began the club because of their interest in preserving and fostering a love for the land and its creatures. The club sits on 23 acres of land with 700 feet of Huron River frontage.

LCWCC is a private non-profit organization with more than one hundred twenty-year members. The club is run by an Executive Board making the best decisions for the club and its members. The board and members of LCWCC pledge to abide by the laws of the club, and the state of Michigan, and to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America.

Dedicated to furthering the cause of conserving our natural resources, LCWCC provides recreation and entertainment for its members and provides moral and/or physical or financial assistance to civic and community activities whose purposes are not opposite those of the Club.

LCWCC offers a variety of events and activities for its members and the community. Please take some time to review the website to see what events and/or activities you would like to check out.

LCWCC is a member of the Michigan United Conservation Club (MUCC). Founded in 1937, MUCC is the largest statewide conservation organization in the nation, with nearly 100,000 members and more than 500 affiliated clubs. For over sixty years, MUCC has worked to accomplish its mission of Uniting Citizens to Conserve Michigan's Natural Resources and Protect Our Outdoor Heritage. MUCC works to conserve Michigan's wildlife, fisheries, waters, forests, air, and soils by providing information, education and advocacy. For more information visit www.mucc.org.Â
